I enjoyed today's grilling session using the Slow N Sear on my Weber kettle to grill up an amazing batch of chicken wings.
I started by getting my kettle really hot using the Slow N Sear filled with lit charcoal. Since I was doing a fast cook I didn't put any water into the reservoir.
The chicken wings were tossed with some oil then coated with McCormick's Montreal Chicken Seasoning. The McCormick's seasoning is okay...I like it but probably wont be buying any more. Pretty neutral stuff.
I might have to try the Habanero Dust rubs I have been reading about over at the BBQ Brethren forums.

The wings were grilled with indirect heat and it didn't take long for them to cook through.
After 20 minutes the skin was bubbling!

15 minutes after that and the chicken wings were just about finished.
These wings were looking great!

These wings were a great way to splurge in a healthy way before I go into Meatless Monday tomorrow.
I am delighted with the Slow N Sear. I was on the fence with whether to get this accessory or not but my friend, David, really likes his so I went for it. Here is the Slow n Sear review that David wrote.
