Kabobs! Shrimp and Veggies!

This has been another "go to" meal at my house.  Shrimp is high in protein, low in fat and grills up pretty fast.  The veggies kabobs are also extremely simple and you can switch the veggies up to add some variety.

I grill these on High heat for about four minutes per side. They turn out delicious!

It's been a hectic week at my house.  I am not getting to the gym as often as I should.  On the positive side, when I do get to the gym I am getting in some high quality work.  

Right now I have a living room filled with eleven teenagers who are practicing for a school play.  How's that for fun..a bunch of teenagers being dramatic.

Days like today make it hard to stick with healthy eating.  I am sitting here staring at the pizzas they ordered and thinking that a slice of pepperoni pizza would really hit the spot! 

What I ought to do is just leave the house and take a walk around the block.  That ain't happening though.  I remember being a teenager and the things I would do when no adults were around!
