Getting healthy is all about making changes.  If you are going to make changes then every now and then you will have to try something new.

Trying something new is how I ended up with a mess of frog legs on my grill.

I have never eaten frog legs before this.   My dad really like fried frog legs.  I guess I know a couple of folks that say they like them.  I have never heard anyone say that they didn't like them.  Most folks just said "Yuck" when I asked about them but when I asked if they had ever eaten frog legs the answer was always , "No".

This was a pretty simple cook.  Seasoned the legs up with some bbq seasoning and grilled on the Weber over high heat for about 5 minutes per side.

Who knew you put put grill marks onto frog legs?!?!

I grilled up some zucchini to go along with the frog legs and it made for a pretty plate!

I am glad I stepped outside of my comfort zone and grilled something completely different.

I just wish I liked the frog legs!  The flavor was not what I was expecting.  I was going by the lame joke that they taste like chicken.

It turns out that frog legs do not taste like chicken.  These flavor of these legs had notes of fish oil and mud.  I guess that really isn't too surprising considering where a frog hangs out for most of its life.

That's okay, it was a fun grilling adventure.  At least now I can check frog legs off of my "to-do" list!

Have a blessed day!
